Registering
1. Register using the character's name with proper capitalization. For characters with only one name, you can use just that name.
----Example: “Thor” works just as well as “Thor Odinson”. Depends entirely on preferance.
Even if your character goes by another name, use their real name.
----Example: “Peter Quill” is preferable to “Star Lord”.
2. Applicants have two weeks after reserving a character to at least begin an application (posting an empty template does not count, it must have some information in it), or they will lose their reservation.
Gameplay
1. No godmodding. If your character has powers that can affect another person, ask them first if it's okay.
2. Posts should be decent length, enough to move the plot forward.
3. Absolutely no graphic content. If you want to do that, take it off site.
4. Try to stay active. We understand real life gets in the way, and if that happens, just let us know somehow.
5. Please don't assume more characters than you can keep up with. If you feel like you can handle six or seven characters, then by all means, do so. If not, save yourself some stress. Again, we're here to have fun.
6. If you wish to use a character who is not on the canon list, please feel free. There are several canons who may have slipped through the cracks, as the list is extensive enough to have been split up, and the administrator is only human and may have forgotten to list them.
Code of Conduct
1. Please be polite and respectful of other players. We're here to have fun in Marvel's sandbox and play with their toys, not hurt each other's feelings. If someone is being disrespectful, please do not be afraid to alert a moderator.
1a. If someone doesn't like the same movies/characters/whatever as you, do not take it as a personal offense. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Opinions are neither right nor wrong. Please, please, please do not give people grief just because they like/don't like something you don't/do. I have seen this happen and had it happen to me. It's no fun for anyone involved.
