THOR ODINSON
“I LIKE THIS! ANOTHER!”
“This isn't my first rodeo, Mr. Stark.”
Name: Meg
Age: 30
How'd you find us? I got connections.
RP experience: So many.
“Who are these people?”
Full Name: Thor Odinson
Nicknames: God of Thunder, Son of Odin, Big oaf, Point Break
Alias: Donald Blake M.D.
Age: Let us just say that he’s really robbing the cradle with Jane.
Sexuality: heterosexual
Race: Asgardian
Occupation: Superhero for the Avengers Initiative. First in line to succession of the throne of Asgard (so, a Prince, if that can be considered an occupation).
Class: Hero
Play-By: Chris Hemsworth
“We have left humanity behind...”
Any special talents? Able to consume vast quantities of alcohol, like say a liquor store. Loves to sing drinking songs and songs of war.
Superpowers: Able to generate thunderstorms, direct lightning strikes with Mjölnir. Can fly with Mjölnir. Naturally, very strong.
Other Abilities: Unlike a bull in a china shop, Thor is very destructive. (Guys, watch Mythbusters)!
Anything else we should know? He’s very good at making sincere apologies. Also, training goats.
“That's my secret, Cap. I'm always angry.”
Personality: Basically a giant marshmallow with an affinity for fighting, Thor is a brash, strong personality. He tempers it with the politeness his mother managed to force into him. A true Prince, he is strong, honest, and benevolent. A warrior first, he prefers to lead by the battle hammer, as it were. Then again, as a true warrior, he would prefer not to be king, at least, not yet.
Once always running into situations without a care for consequences, Thor has learned his lessons, and now at least thinks about things before doing them. He has yet to stop putting his foot in his mouth, though he is getting much better at recognizing when he has said something ignorant.
“Cause I'm with you to the end of the line.”
Family:
Father: Odin
Mother: Frigga
Brother: Loki (Adopted).
Beloved: Jane Foster
Adoptive family: the Lady Sif and the Warriors Three (Hogun, Fandral, and Volstagg).
History: Asgardian Prince, born and raised. He grew up with his brother, Loki, though as they aged, they grew apart. They had once been inseparable, but Loki became more interested in magic like Frigga, while Thor took after their father, Odin, seeking glorious battle.
Abandoning his schooling every chance he got, Thor got himself into numerous adventures and foolish endeavours, including, but not limited to: raising goats to pull his Chariot, naming one Tanngrisner (One Who has Gaps Between his Teeth or otherwise: Toothgnasher), and the other Tanngnorst (One Who Grinds His Teeth, a.k.a Toothgrinder), a brilliant display of Thor’s imagination with regards to naming things. Clearly, Jane should never let him name their children. As he reached the Asgardian equivalent age of majority, Thor had friends in the Lady Sif and the Warriors Three, and they were often raising hell in the nine realms. Drinking and partying like a frat boy before there were frat boys, Thor often let his judgement lapse. An example of this was presented in the first Thor movie, in which Thor learns about Jotun intruders in Asgard and against the orders of Odin, proceeded to travel to Jotunheim with the Lady Sif, the Warriors Three, and Loki. They tangled with the Frost Giants, nearly losing their lives.
As a result of this indiscretion, Thor was punished via banishment to Midgard (Earth), one of the nine realms of Asgard. It was here he met Jane Foster, learned to think before he leapt, and all around grew as an individual. It was his willingness to sacrifice himself for Midgard and Jane that enabled him to return to Godhood with Mjölnir at his side. He returned to Asgard after saying goodbye to Jane, and fought the Frost Giants Loki had brought over. The battle ended with the bifrost destroyed and Thor squaring off against Loki, and the younger man choosing to commit suicide instead, flinging himself into the abyss.
Burdened with grief of loss, and separation, Thor wondered if he would ever return to Earth, and the lady Jane.
A year later, with Odin All-Father's blessing and assistance of magic-tech energy, Thor returned to Midgard to join the Avengers in subduing his brother Loki who seemed hellbent on subjugating earth and her humans to his will. After initial clashes of personalities, Thor and the rest of the Avengers became a team capable of fending off an alien invasion of Chitauri.
Happy that Loki was alive, but aggrieved that his brother had done terrible things, Thor took Loki into his custody. With the Tesseract Thor brought Loki back to Asgard to face punishment. At least, that is what he told the humans.
Chance brought Jane and Thor together again when the Aether came into play. After losing Loki once again, Thor told Odin he was going back to Midgard and not to bother him for a hundred years. Well, more or less in those words. Surprised at Odin’s lenience and amenable attitude, Thor returned to Earth, and Jane.
Always ready to answer the call to be one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Thor joined the Avengers in battle whenever he heard them call. Ultron was a mighty foe and dealing with him brought about some major changes. After the Sokovia affair, Thor is searching for Jane since she is difficult to find. Jane seems to be always at a ceremony or another. Regardless of whether he ever finds Jane again, he would always be there to answer duty’s call.
“Dance-off, bro. Me and you.”

Summary: Thor is gifted with a pair of goats because he saved people or he’s royalty or something, it doesn’t matter, the point is he has goats. And he loves them.
“I think I shall call this one Tanngnorst,” Thor mused, as he listened to the majestic creature grinding the vegetation loudly between its teeth. The God hadn’t asked the creature for his or her gender, nor was he going to invade xis or xir’s privacy to determine such. Thor, deep in thought, stroked his chin, where he was attempting to grow a beard, but the growth was slow and scattered. Someday, soon, he shall have a great mane to rival his father's!
Looking toward the sky— the solar entities were glistening particularly bright this twilight— Thor frowned. No inspiration there. His goats were land bound. They could not travel the skies, nor the stars. No, inspiration in their naming must be true to them. Tanngnorst proceeded to chew upon the length of Thor’s tunic. The sight had him releasing joyful laughter. “No, no, Tanngnorst.” He gently shoved the creature away from masticating the cloth, very much amused. “This garment is not for your consumption.”
Focusing his attention upon the other goat, Thor watched the creature move about for a while, getting a sense of personality shining through the silky haired exterior. Finally, the creature regarded him with quite intelligent eyes, then yawned as though bored of the God. Thor was delighted.
“You are Tanngrisner!” He boomed with happiness. “Your snarl is quite amusing, though I suspect you shall grow into it.” He pat the creature upon its head, between the horns. “We shall have many great returns together!” Thor included Tanngnorst in the petting session, both goats purring their pleasure under his hands. The naming ceremony was complete, and Thor felt a great swell of love in his heart for these goats. They had such great and wonderful potential.
“You are my goats,” Thor murmured, “and I am well pleased.”
