Thor is very respectful of Natasha because Sif taught him well. Thor thinks Natasha should have a thread with him before he leaves Midgard for Asgard on May 30, 2015. Perhaps they have a frank discussion or debriefing on the events involving Ultron. Perhaps they talk about matchmaking for their Captain America. Anything you want, Thor is probably up for it.

I am totally on board for a past Mattasha encounter, probably when he was in college or law school, though I'm not sure how long it might have lasted. He'd probably remember her if they met up again, which they should totally do. At the gym, his office, a bar, coffee shop, doesn't matter to me where. Something should happen with these two at some point.

I feel like Matt could be on several radars if his vigilante exploits keep making the papers. Depending on the kind of terrible people trying to gain a foothold/already established in Hell's Kitchen, he could have started going after someone on Avengers radar, which might get him on there too. Not entirely sure which terrible person that might be, but it's a thought. Or, if there's any reason for her to be out of New York at any point, it's entirely possible he could be somewhere for a legal conference and they could meet up there. I'm honestly good with just about anything.

It really could be. If there's something to do with the beginning stages of the SRA/Sokovia Accords/whatever they're calling it, there's bound to be something arranged to help lawyers understand what exactly any new laws connected to it would entail, and give both of them a heads-up what to expect, even if no one in charge of the thing expects any superheroes to show up, since nothing's probably concrete yet. It might not even matter what exactly is being covered, unless they end up running into each other during a panel, and even then it might be more of an afterthought.

Another thing I was thinking about is whether or not there'd be any way aside from Nat's voice to help Matt recognize her.

I think Nat would definitely look out for Wanda. Natasha sees a lot of herself in Wanda, and I can see her making an effort to provide support. Natasha isn't always the greatest at it, but she'd be the sort to bring by a fancy bottle of vodka after a long mission and offer her company. Natasha's not pushy, but she's definitely making a conscious effort to make sure Wanda feels like she's part of the team.

I feel like they might have been familiar via reputation, but they probably never worked together during their S.H.I.E.L.D. days. Natasha is definitely a little infamous, to say the least.

I can definitely see an encounter in New York though. Natasha is more than happy to investigate new nefarious dealings to alleviate the boredom. Hydra, hell even Ten Rings isn't completely destroyed yet, or even just dealing with petty crime bullshit sounds like a blast.
